Located in the northwestern part of Malaysia, Ipoh is a city known to attract tourists for its art and street food. After a successful partnership with the local council, Beam has been given the green light to begin a 6-month trial with Beam e-scooters aimed at providing a sustainable and convenient mode of transportation in the city for both locals and tourists.

In addition to providing a sustainable and convenient transportation option, Beam is also supporting the city's goal to become a Low Carbon City, Walkable City by 2030. • Personal Accident Insurance: Every rider will be covered by Beam’s personal accident insurance.
• Virtual Docking: Fixed ‘virtual’ parking docks will be seen within the app, with riders directed to appropriate parking spots through a combination of guidance, incentives, and disincentives.
