[1 July 2022] Beam has renewed its partnership with Adelaide’s Illuminate in the major event’s second year, offering a value-filled City Lights Pass to scoot around the city this winter. 

Adelaidians and visitors alike can hop aboard a Beam and engage with Illuminate Adelaide’s fun-filled program, with the pass offering 90-minutes of city exploration for only $18.99. 

From 15 July, riders will also be able to hop on a Beam and explore the projections and large-scale installations that are part of the event’s iconic City Lights trail, returning for its second year. 

More than 40 works will be available on display along Adelaide’s streets, laneways and open spaces from 15 July, including projections, augmented reality, street art and audio-visuals.

Beam’s Head of Partnerships (ANZ) Adam Rossetto, said: 

“We’re thrilled to be returning for our second year as an official partner of Illuminate Adelaide, and to see the festival go from strength to strength. 

“As we’ve continued to expand our footprint across the city, Adelaidians have become more entrenched with using our purple e-scooters as a mode of transport, and Illuminate Adelaide is a great opportunity for locals to engage with the myriad artistic talent on offer throughout the festival.

“Illuminate Adelaide has become synonymous with an Adelaide winter, and I hope the City Lights Pass will allow both locals and visitors to go further and experience more of the festival.

“Over 70% of our Adelaide riders live within the city centre or inner-city suburbs, with over 65% of all riders utilising Beams for leisure and exploring the city. We anticipate the majority of our riders will engage with one or more of the events on offer.”
